We took the 1.25 hour cruise over Easter. Unexpectedly pricey at $30 per adult, but due to timing and everywhere else being fully booked, we decided to take this boat trip. Boat went down to the Entrance of Lakes Entrance, captain gave us information about the history, and we saw pods of dolphin jumping and swimming around the boat. Also... More

We were part of a 20+ group of friends, that enjoyed a very professional, entertaining trip on the lakes on board Thunderbird. Very informative commentary and an open wheel house policy allowed everyone full accces to all crew members and their expertise snd knowledge. Also a very nice 2 course dinner at Metung is such great value with a good... More

The cruise is a nice trip. Lunch at the metung pub left a lot to be desired. The trip up the posh area along the lake was awesome.

We spent the afternoon with Peels, cruising as far as Paynesville into the lakes, clean boat, great crew, maybe a lick of paint on the outside about the only complaint

We went on the Thunderbird for the 2.5 hour cruise. It was a windy day but the vessel is very well equipped and sheltered. We didn't even notice the wind. It took us past some great spots and gave us ideas for a drive the next day to explore even more. The staff were all lovely. The comentary was not... More

We did the 2.5hr afternoon cruise on the Thunderbird and not only was this trip enjoyable and informative it was also wheelchair accessible. There was a snack bar on board and we enjoyed a glass of wine on the way.

Staying in the area for a few days we wanted to get out on the water and Peels cruises seem to offer the best options. We were on board the Thunderbird which offered good inside and outside seating areas. It was a very pleasant and informative cruise, light refreshments were available at reasonable prices. Take windproof jacket as can be... More

After picking up a brochure from the Tourist Information Centre about Peels Cruises we decided to do the afternoon cruise on the Stormbird. We arrived at the jetty about 20 minutes before the departure time of 3:15 that was advertised on the brochure, only to discover that the actual departure time was an hour earlier at 2pm. The office was... More

We had a great informative cruise through the Lakes. Stopped at the Metung Hotel, had a good meal. Great value for money. Definitely a must. Drinks on board the boat were cold as well.
