Great Experience with Kaani Tours.. The staff took good care of us and Special Thanks to Laura who took great Photos and always looking after. The Team are professional and the Day Trip with every Cent you pay for. Best choice to choose to stop at Maafushi for a couple of nights at Kaani Palm Beach before leaving Maldives via Male Airport back to our home country. Maafushi has a lot of offer compare with other Local Island and believe me the Trips with Kaani Tours team would be the greatest choice!

We took one excursion tour with them named "the Real Break Vaavu Explore". the guide of that tour Named "Loura". She was arrogant and very rude with us throughout the trip which was really unpleasant. Loura was more attentive to white people and didn’t give us enough time to take photographs, even I didn't get a single picture or video of mine during snorkeling which they comitted to provide during start. In sandbanks and sting ray feeding they didn’t give enough time to take photographs and always rushed us to back in boat quickly. I asked Kasum of Kanni Grand reception to find out my photographs as he convince us for the trip - but he didn’t response at all. Later We took the same excursion in another day with another company (icom tours) which was wonderful. I also found that Kanni Tours charge 10$ - 20$ more compared to other tour operations in every excursion and Resort day trips. For example I took "Day tour in adaaran club rannalhi resort" from Icom tours which costs me 100$ per person. The same package is charged 120$ in Kanni Tours. So my advice is to avoid Kanni Tours and water sports activists. They are not good at all.

From the time I booked a flight to Maldives up until our last day, Aabo from Kaani Tours has been very helpful and accommodating. Booked 3 tours, resort day tour, nurse shark tour, snorkeling tour, all tours were very organized. Diver Mark was very very good in taking underwater pictures. All staff of Kaani were very professional. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Kaani tours in Maafushi.

In Maldives visit , " kaani tours " Mark the name of guy who accompanied for snorkeling actvity is damn good and extremely customer focussed guy . Infact he tried his best and ensures kids watched the coral , tortel nicely inside the sea ..

When all other tour operators cancelled their Shipwreck tour due to expected bad weather next day, Kaani tours assured us that they have big boats and they can safely manage through the weather.
On the morning of tour, in spite of cloudy weather they decided to go ahead with the tour. Unfortunately after an hour of very bumpy ride through the sea and another hour waiting at Fulidhio Island in rain, the tour was cancelled and the day was wasted.
The desk staff is rude and manager (Dhanora) has no regard for guest concerns.
Since we also used service of other tour operators I can share a relative comparison...
Kaani tours have much less personalized service, their tour guides are just doing their jobs, no passion no excitement. Moreover their equipment is universal size, and quiet old & worn out. I received a cracked snorkel, luckily I checked. There is no way anyone could have snorkeled using that at sea!
They have maximum number of hotel rooms at Maafushi and hence gets maximum number of inhouse tourists on their tours but they take that for granted and don't put any effort in maintaining their quality, which is why they are the worst of the lot.
On other hand at iCom tours, the group size was small, we got personalized service, they gave snorkel masks & fins after checking for fitment to every individual. Their equipment was new and in good condition. The towels were also new. The staff (Chanko and Estela) were full of energy and enthusiasm. We had a great time with them! They are the best of the lot at Maafushi....

Kaani tours took part in making my stay at Maldives beyond what I expected. The excursions were amazing and the team is very good in giving us tour to different islands showing us marvelous marine life. Aside from being so kind and approachable I can't give anything less than a thumbs up for their pro way of taking pictures too. Would definitely recommend Kaani tours to my friends and others who wish to travel to Maafushi Maldives.

The clerk was totally disrespectful and unkind. He almost told me to shut up. I disencourage anyone to book a tour with this team, as they don't know how to treat a customer.

We did 3 different excursions with Kaani Tours and loved all of them.
They really do everything to make you happy, make sure that you feel safe, the equipment is in perfect conditions; they take good pictures of you (included in the price), and bring umbrellas and the lunch to the sandbank.
Couldn’t be more satisfied!! Thank you to everyone in the boat, you made your holidays so perfect!

I do recommend to take an alternative tour operator. As much as I want to give a good review for the experience, their staff behaviors cancelled everything. I went there with a friend and the boat was full of foreigners. We reach the shark points and the crew started cursing the tourists not knowing I was a local. Cursing with derogatory, racist and undermining the same people who paid. I did confront them on the boat and their response was they do that because the guests aren’t following their directions. Imagine throwing the guests into a shark pit and when they’re afraid, the crew started cursing them. Guests even panicked and lost their mind seeing the sharks. They cursed me and my friend too. Such a sad thing to see considering the hotel has been operating for years and I assume this must’ve been going on for years as well.

Don’t book here. They rip you off in your face.
We booked a whaleshark trip. They already had 11 pax confirmed… so 13 in total (us included). We showed up at the appointment and they tell us the trip is cancelled for today. Suddenly 6 pax decided to postpone the trip and do it 1 day later. We asked our money back but they can only give it back 3 days later!!!!!! We don’t understand… its the best weather to go in a week. No wind, sun is shining. So don’t book this!!!!! The guy was laughing in our face and didn’t want to look for a solution. Only to postpone 1 day and we aren’t sure about the weather. We also booked a dive trip so we couldn’t just postpone.

I were at Maafushi two times and I am planning to go again :)
Amazing stay I had in Kaani Grand sea view hotel with professional staff so helpful in everything.
Special thanks to Mr.Aiman,Mr. Mark and all of them.
