Great place to entertain school kids during the holidays, especially on a cold wet winters day. Adults loved it too

Enjoyed all the local history and cultural exhibitions. Also the Maori culture and exhibits especially the local iwi (tribes). Local artists etc too. Free except for special exhibitions. A great place to visit on a rainy day

A rather small museum, some attractions you need to pay. Great for students, those new to New Zealand and learning about NZ culture.

Great to have a look at this Museum & learn more about "Palmy" & its history & surrounding areas. Don't miss the "little" cinema & their old news reels constantly showing. Also the river exhibition.
