We travel to Poor Knights for diving at least once a year and it's always amazing. It's a pleasant drive for us from north Auckland to Tutukaka where activities are based for the trip to the Islands. They are basically rugged, beautiful and uninhabited. We are not permitted to land on them but you don't need too because it's what's... More

Took wife and daughter for boating trip on boxing day. Wife and daughter loved every second. They swam and snorkeled for hours. Well worth the money, unfortunately I spent most of the time at the back of the boat chucking up. Turns out im not good on boats. But saying that, the crew were great and highly recommend this trip.

I have been out to the Poor Knights with Dive Tutukaka's Perfect Day for the past 4 years. Each time I am so impressed with this company and their slick operation. Today Darren and his crew did not disappoint. We had a great day at this unique place and today was a highlight for our international students stay while they... More

Quite simply this is the best dive spot I have ever dived on world wide. It's a bit of a shame that the last 5 dives I have done there have essentially been in the same spot around the Rico Rico cave area when there are dozens of different spots. Depends on the weather though.

Poor Knights islands is a very beautiful place, the wildlife is incredible out there, both underneath and above the water… We were followed by a big pot of dolphins – and even though I’ve seen it many times before, this was the best experience, of several reasons… There were SO many dolphins, the water was flat like a mirror and... Amazing diving and snorkling, types and numbers of fish hard to believe. Beautiful scenery, listen to the Bellbirds calling while you sit on your boat. You can spend the whole day there, take food and drink because you will want to stay longer than planned when you see the beautiful bays and coves where you can be in the water or... More

Very professional! Well organised dive company. 4 boats, plenty of staff and knowledgeable - but it is cold in the water, don't think a 3 ml wet suit will do, use theirs - 2 x 7ml pieces. I was as warm as toast but several others on the boat were still cold! Saw all sorts of fish life, from large... More

The Reserve status has meant each year, the marine life has become more magical and plentiful. It is a terrific experience not to be missed. It is better than the Reserve in Hawaii and is superior to any Pacific area where I have snorkeled.

What a great trip. The dive shop helped us with our gear and loaded on the boat. The dive masters were great. We had Dawn for our leader and she was fantastic. We dove at Middle Arch and Trevor's Point. We had 7mm wetsuits and that kept us comfortable. Our oldest son wore a vest with his swim trunks- no... More

When the visability is great , & you enjoy a smoothe trip over ( less than an hour ), you will experience one of your best days in your life . Visability is best in autumn . Whether you swim with the Rays in the Northern Arch , or relax & explore Nursery Cove , or experience the Blue Mou... More
