The business is professional yet friendly. They made sure everyone got the most out of the trip. Just so you know to expect it, you have to wear double layer full length wetsuits which they provide. We ended up going twice as the first time we had minimal seal viewing. Great that they offer this option (or refund). The guides... More

My girls and I are on a semester around the world from Alaska and a focus of our studies is to study animals at each country we visit. Our picks for New Zealand are the kiwi bird, fur seal and hectors dolphins. We chose Seal Swim to do our animal encounter and heard that it was the best seal swim... More

This trip exceeded our expectations. We spent 8 days on the south island doing lots of different activities and exploring lots of different scenery and this is the activity which stands out in our mind the most. It was like being in a documentary - the seals were at times within a metre of us. The seals playfully swam, tumble... More

I loved the seal swim experience! It was a perfectly organised trip and a lovely crew. The spot was beautiful with lots of playful, relaxed and very interacting seals. The crew looks well after the seals and their environment.

We went out with seal swim kaikoura and it was amazing. Vanessa and the staff were fantastic. The wet suits masks and snorkel see all very good equipment and to be in the water and have a seal swim right under you is amazing. You have to do this you won't regret it

The seal swim experience was seriously awesome. The business is extremely well organised, the staff are very friendly and any fears I had regarding safety quickly disappeared once I was in the water with these amazing animals. The boat ride to the seals was reasonably short and I was relieved to find we were swimming in pretty shallow water near... More

We had a the best time swimming with the seals. I was not really sure what to expect. You really get into the water with the seals and swim all around. They are super friendly and will show off and do tricks for you. We felt very comfortable and safe in the water. We did not feel like we were... More

Whilst I have not actually done a tour with this company I have spent quite a lot of time watching them from our boat whilst my partner was diving. The operators always give us a friendly wave as they go past and most of the swimmers seem to have a great time swimming with the seals. One weekend in February... More
