I love going to kaputar !!! Its a fantastic day for the whole family ! Yes the road is a bit dodgy but with some common sense cn be traversed with little to no effort Can be bitterly cold in winter so not the best...More

A magnificent volcanic area with many walks from easy to hard, a couple of camp grounds and very nice picnic and toilet facilities.....with flushing loos no less.

View from the summit of Mt Kaputar is worth the drive. It is almost a 360 degree view from the summit lookout but also excellent view from further down. Three Wedge tail Eagles were soaring nearby when we visited. There are steps to the lookout...More

If you have time you must visit mt kaputat Its about 60km to the top with lookouts and walking tracks Spectacular views on a clear day Be prepared for about a 10 degree drop in temperature though

Just beautiful. Amazing lookouts and lovely walks. Picnic tables and toilets available at some lookouts but not all.
