The staff were absoltuely lovely, for a gold coin donation the kids get a little fact sheet to fill out from the information found in the displays. There were some interactive exhibits and puzzles to solve. A film to watch and a couple of live displays. It's probably better for younger children but you could easily spend an hour here.... More

I was looking forward to the visit, but was disappointed. It is not expensive and was semi-interesting, but not great.

Found this place completely by chance by stopping for a photo opportunity of the Nala Sculpture! Anne Frank exhibit, youth art was amazing and the Whales displays were all interesting and would have liked longer to spend more time there

Nice exhibits and friendly staff members. Kids will enjoy touching starfishes in the open aquarium. The best part is the theatre with bean bags to watch a 10-minute movie about the aboriginal legend on the evolution of Fraser Island. We bought tickets (i think it was $7 per person) but now the admission price is just a gold coin donation.... More
