It tells you the story of the outback and what the pioneers faced. It is well presented and so much to learn. Great for kids. The people there were very friendly and there is a cafe and coffee shop. A great day.

What a fabulous Centre! Lots of interesting displays and interactive activities. Spent several hours here followed by a lovely lunch at the Outback Tuckerbox. Your ticket gives you a 12 month pass to come back anytime. Absolutely worth a visit.

What an interesting place to visit. The displays exhibited from dinosaur time onwards, were really great to view. We learnt lots and were impressed by the quality of the displays.

Lots of fun learning about the area and the history of it. Why it is here and how it became what it is. A good cafe is here also. Buy your tickets online to save a few dollars. Lots of parking including caravan parking.

Dropped in to get some updated maps for my trip north. Staff very helpful with a variety of maps, all free, taking me all the way to Darwin. Also pointed out the various quarantine points should I be carrying fresh produce.
