Visited this lovely garden on a Sunday afternoon and were amazed to find only one other car in the car park. Being from England where visiting gardens at the weekend is a huge hobby we expected to find lots of other people there. However, apart from one other family we had the place to ourselves. Ok the gardens are not... More

This venue provided a relaxing walk around 6 acres of garden. It was well maintained and provided a huge variety of plants. Lovely place for family picnic, especially for kids with guns for water fights, due to large areas of water. We thought it was sad that people were not paying the $5 per adult in the honesty box. I... More

Garden is out of town, if there is nothing else to do visiting the garden is OK. Not on top of my list!

I am SO happy I found this garden AND had time to linger here. $5 entry and I'd happily paid more. Tables and benches dotted throughout the Gardens of the World, from Africa to America, NZ, Orient, etc.... ponds, plants, spaces partitioned into 'rooms'! Bring a picnic and your camera, a book, binoculars or friends, and stroll or sit. Soooo... More

I loved this garden, it is beautifully set out and with lovely established trees and interesting plantings. There was a wedding going on when we visited today - obviously a popular spot for this type of activity! There is a $5 entry fee for adults and gold coin donation for children. This is a little off the main road between... More

The 2 or 3 hectare garden contains trees collected over a lifetime by an tree enthusiast. Well set out in themed areas.

One afternoon in the autumn my partner surprised me with a beautiful picnic and proposal by the lake. We did leave in a bit of hurry when we realized there were others comemorating a more sombre occasion across the lake. If you are thinking of proposing to your loved one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these gardens. Maybe check to... More

A nice quiet spot but quite a way to drive and we were expecting more! Gardens were rather unkempt, not very colourful although some nice trees. Could just have been change of seasons and may be nice for a picnic in summer.

This is quiet peaceful garden ,rather natural with many interesting aspects a nice place for a wander or for a picnic. More of a place for adults , not a lot to do for children.
