Pask was first to plant vines at Gimblett Road, Hawke’s Bay, founding the now world-renowned wine growing area known as Gimblett Gravels. Since then Pask wines have consistently enjoyed gold medal and trophy success in London, Australia, Asia, the United States, Canada and New Zealand across a range of varietals and wine styles. Today Pask is one of New Zealand’s leading winemakers with an enviable reputation for excellence. We are proud to have made wines considered among New Zealand’s finest by discerning wine drinkers in New Zealand and around the world for over 25 years. Our vision is simple: to produce the finest wines of Hawke’s Bay. We invite you to enjoy them with us.

We made an unplanned detour to stop here for a wine tasting, so we weren't sure what to expect, and boy were we glad we did! We had a lovely lady wait on us for our wine tasting who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wines come from the unique terroir of the Gimlett Gravels, and the reds were particularly... More

When we visited the usual wine host was not present but we were warmly welcomed and offered a number of tastings including the very expensive wines. If you drink red wine this is... More

As far as Hawke's Bay wineries go, there wasn't anything particularly unique about Pask, but if it's on the way and you've got nowhere else pressing to be, it's a nice way to spend the afternoon. The staff present was very knowledgeable about wine-making and we had quite a good time learning more about the process behind the bottle. We... More

We have lived in Hastings for the past 8 years and Pask is our closest winery, unbelievably we have never visited. Went for a tasting today and found exceptional wines and great service. No hard sell but loads of temptations. It's always good to find special wines that have been cellared for you . We left with a 2009 Declaration... More

After hearing wonders about New Zealand wines I couldn't wait to try some, and so before leaving Napier I visited a couple of wineries. This is renowned, but for me it was a delusion right at the start. Maybe it was because I was alone, so they thought I wasn't worth the effort, or they do so well via other... More

World class wines off the 'gravels' from the pioneer producer, CJ Pask showcased by passionate staff at the cellar door. They opened some really SPECIAL wines for our group & we much appreciated their efforts. Highest recommendations!
