We welcome visitors to our cellar door, located at the winery in the heart of the Gimblett Gravels wine region. Originally a working part of the winery, the cellar door is an impressive space with 5 metre-high ceilings and a great view of our white barrel hall through a huge sliding glass door. Here you can purchase from our full range of award winning wines and a wide selection is open for tasting. You can even pick up a bottle or two of something special – wines only retailed through the cellar door – or take home a souvenir of your visit from our quality branded merchandise. Our lovely gardens and expansive lawn make the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic – you can make up your own platter from our selection of delicious produce. In the summer we often have live music and hot food available at weekends, just check the events section of our website. The cellar door team are a knowledgeable and friendly bunch who will guide you through our wines and answer your questions. They might even have a bottle of something “not on the list” for you to try, especially at weekends. In the summer(October – Easter), we are open 7 days a week for sales and tasting (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday 10.00am – 5.00pmWinter (After Easter – September) we're open Wednesday through Saturday 11.00am – 4.00pm We do ask that larger groups, mini-bus groups and tours book in with us in advance. Tasting charges apply.

I had a delightful time wine tasting here. Kara was bubbly and welcoming and informative about the wines - a real pleasure to have her do my tasting. The venue is beautiful and they have some lovely wines. Definitely worth a visit!

We've done a bike tour from winery to winery in the Hawkes bay and really enjoyed it! We went to 5 different wineries that day and trinity hill was definitely the favourite - great wine, nice location and winyard - amazing staff! Overall package very good! 😃

We do drink a lot of Trinity Hill wine, so this was a must visit. We were not disappointed. We had a fantastic tasting with an extremely friendly and knowledgeable (without being over the top) guy. The tasting room is well laid out and can handle multiple groups of tasters. And yes, we did but more wine...

We arrived early and were alone to enjoy the tastings of the day. Wow, a lovely spot and a wonderful cellar. Amy was kind and took lots of time with us fellow wine and sunflower lovers. She even let us taste the very premium wine we could never buy. Lovely and delicious experience. Congrats on such success and Thanks!

Quite architectural appearance. Pleasant atmosphere. We were a group of 10. We felt a little bit ignored after being seated at a table (there is only 2) for a wine tasting. There were 2-3 staff floating around. There was only 1 other couple tasting but it took a good 5 minutes between tastings. We did get a bit bored and... More

Dear Shellysyy4u, Thank you for coming to visit us at Trinity Hill last weekend. We are sorry that you found your experience to be less than excellent. We find that larger groups often prefer to be sat together at one of our wooden tasting tables so that they can better interact with the other members of their party and have... More

The assistant winemaker did our tasting. Our group of four and another couple. He was informative and the wines were excellent. It was a rich and enjoyable experience. As well, it is a beautiful winery. We went to three other wineries in Napier and this was our FAVORITE!

Myself, friends and family ( Irish, Welsh, English and Scottish) went to this winery for a tasting and cheeseboard. I don't think they generally serve a cheeseboard but we rang ahead and requested this and they happily obliged. This was about the 5th winery we visited on our trip (not all in 1 day)!! It was a fantastic experience. Sacha... More
