Belong to Mick! Just a little Crocodile Dundee humour there. Yes this area was in the film. Seriously though, it's a great place to visit at sunset. Walk around and enjoy the rock art and the beautiful country. Then make your way to the look...More

More difficult to climb to the lookout than Noarlangie Rock as it requires the ability to climb rocks, but still calming. Again as with anywhere in northern Australia, if you don’t like humidity, don’t go there in the “build up”, or the “let down”.

A must visit when in the Northern Territory. There are rock painting thousand of years old to view. Easy walking tracks from the car park. You can see across to Arnhem Land.

We visited here on a hot Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The set walk was said to take 1.5 hours, but we managed the entire walk, including taking photographs in each place and climbing to the lookout, in just under an hour. When...More

Good facility enabling easy access to several sites of Aboriginal art. Guide commentary enhanced the significance of the cultural significance. It is well worth the trouble to climb the look-out hill, at least to the first level.

The Aborigine art is more comprehensive than at Nourlangie and there are fewer flies. Close by is a river crossing, where you may see crocodiles, and, also close by, is a 3 kilometer walk through attractive sandstone rock formations returning along the river (again there...More
