Maguk Gorge was the highlight of our visit to the NT. The walk in is a fabulous tropical surround and the waterfall and pool are stunning. It was an absolute delight to swim in this pristine place.

A short walk through monsoon forest to a beautiful pool that gets some sunshine so it isn't freezing, just refreshing. There were lots of people swimming so we swam too despite the possibility of crocodiles. The falls were still flowing despite being the dry season....More

Campsite is not huge, maybe 12 sites. Sites are cordoned off with barriers, so not all have access for trailers. There are fire pits and table and chairs. Some are big enough for a few tents. Most are shady. There is one male & female...More

The crystal waters of Maguk Gorge are beautifully framed by the red cliffs that surround. It is a must do when visiting Kakadu national parks

The walk into the gorge was a bit of an adventure its self. We had to cross a creek with the most beautiful bronze coloured stones. The pathway was flooded in one section so the shoes came off and we walked through. The gorge at...More

Emerald green water, so so so deep. I love it. Plus the walk in there is so lovely along the creekline. Climb to the top of barramundi gorge for added wow & specialness. 4WD only people I'm sick of pushing people through the sand.
