We did this cruise at the last minute but are so pleased we did. Chose the dusk cruise which was absolutely teeming with sights of different birds, horses and crocodiles. Our director welcomed sightings and questions and made sure everyone got a fair chance at seeing things. His passion shone through with his commentary and he was so excited to... More

We had a calm and serene cruise on Yellow Water and managed to see all wildlife - crocs, water buffalo, magpie geese, whistling ducks, night heron, sea eagles, whistling kites, male and female jabiru and the jesus bird. Our guide was very informative and could not believe that we had seen so much !

We did the Sunset/Sunrise cruise combination. The evening cruise was just amazing. We had an indigenous operator and he was fantastic! Told us of the more cultural aspects of the traditional owners and how they used the billabong and the seasons. The morning cruise was also great but as we had seen the bird life the previous evening, I was... More

I did the dawn cruise with my girls - it was the most amazing 3 hours. We saw crocodiles, birds, the most amazing plants and trees - all in this incredible wetland environment - it is unique - I don't think there is anything like this anywhere. Our driver, Kevin, was awesome. He gave us enough information without overloading us... More

If you take one cruise with these people you'll probably want to take another one and having sampled both the dawn and dusk cruises I cant recommend them highly enough. If you get there early enough in the dry season you'll find the cruises depart from adjacent to Cooinda which adds a whole new dimension to their regular cruises. They... More

My wife and I went on the 6:45am sunrise cruise and it was brilliant. A combination of scenery, flora and fauna in two hours that would be difficult to match anywhere. Excellent and extremely knowledgeable commentary from our indigenous guide. Not cheap but well worth the cost of the ticket.

We had a German back packer doing the commentary very hard to understand it was a great disappointment to us when you pay that sort of money, but we loved Kakadu

The cruise on Yellow Waters was absolutely awesome. The wildlife was plentiful, crocs, crocs and more crocs! The cruise boat was well presented and Margaret our guide was very friendly, professional and informative. We did the 9am cruise as we have younger kids and found it to be a good time of the day. There was a breeze that helped... More

We were so excited to get up early and see our first crocs on the infamous Yellow Waters, but our tour guide just didn't stack up. He seemed to be on his own personal bird watching tour...while we saw a fair bit, we learned very little. For the money paid I had fairly high expectations of professionalism and they simply...
