We visitied in the afternoon and had limioted time. We made a great decision to climb to the upper pools - a medium grade walk which takes about 45 minutes at a reasonable pace up hill and scrmabling over rocks at the end. The location...More

Visited this spot whilst staying at Nitmiluk National Park & thought the grounds & pathways were all neatly laid out & well maintained for such an isolated spot. The freshwater lake is huge & the small waterfall beautiful. The water was crystal clear & quite...More

We were hesitant but decided to give it a go. The husband at 71 riddled with problems was able to do it. It took us 3 hours but we would do it again well worth the try. Do this early in the morning.

Stayed overnight in a good campsite. Walked up to top of falls late afternoon and enjoyed a swim. Then enjoyed sunset on way down. Next morning did a great walk to Long Rock Pool and Sweetwater Pool. The walk was great and we had the...More

The were good but a lot of the vegetation growth is making it difficult to view the falls. You will need to walk to the bridge for best view.

We walked to the top pools via the shorter trail, enjoyed a refreshing swim and returned via the slightly longer and less steep trail for a swim in the bottom pool. Lovely morning. Cafe in the car park was good too!

What a gem, 60km north of Katherine, no power but fresh water available. First come first served. $10 pp pn seniors. Lower pool about 100m, upper pool 1km walk. Fantastic. No charge for day visitors.

Beautiful spot. Super busy. Lots of people sitting around the concrete steps to the pools and sun bathing. I opted out of swimming as there was a rumour of a croc.

A really great short walk if you want a swim in the heated weather. We had the pool for ourselves on a Saturday which made it even more special.

Hi, I'd like to know how far away Edith Falls is from the town of Katherine? Can we drive there or do we need to join a tour group in order to go?

Not far at all. About 30-40 min drive north on the main Stuart highway. There is a well marked sign on the right and a paved road to the parking lot. The trail loop going up to the various lagoons and waterfalls is well... More
