We always do this walk when we are in Queenstown/Arrowtown. It is approx a 2 hour walk around the lake so make sure you have the time and fitness to do this. The views from every turn are incredible even on a cloudy day.

We went in Autumn, the sun was out and the area was bathed in the most beautiful colors. It's an easy walk, but you need good, sturdy walking shoes. Don't forget your camera!@

This is a very accessible lake from Queenstown. It can be visited en-route to Arrowtown (beautiful fall colours). There is ample parking. One can also do a walk around the circumference of the lake.

It's a gentle and easy walk. Not very hilly but still a little bit of up and down. Beautiful and peaceful. It's a track for local people and some tourists. .
