We drove to Playa Moron but the only paved road is private. The guard of the resort "let us" park close to the entrance were he looked after our car for a fee. A local teen, took us to the beach via the public access (not doable with a car). He offered drinks from a cooler and also to bring... More

Drove there with my motocross bike, guards were unfriendly and said nobody can enter anymore. I circled around and found a way through the forest, only to meet a gentleman with a pumpgun who escorted me off the premises again. The beach itself looked beautiful and rough, just as you would expect it from an Atlantic-facing one. If you have... More

Beautiful beach, sand waves and cove. Last year Resort Cap el Limon allowed the public to park inside the entrance gate and then walk down their paved road to the beach. Now you must park outside the gate and walk down a very muddy path to get to the beach. Local youth accept tips to lead you to the beach.... More

We were here in December 2016. After a nice drive, easy to get lost, we finally arrived. There is a big white fence and a big gate. Apparently this seem where you enter. We managed to get through as the security guard there will let us in with a tip. They said that the public access is a bit further... More

Off the beaten path, a new development is being built on the point, once completed you won't be able to get to it from the road thru the condos, only off road thru the mangroves. The beach is deserted, a wonder of 1/2 mile white sand with views of an offshore island.

Lovely playa with beautiful turquoise seas and no seaweed to impede your walking pleasure. Great views.

I wish i could live here, this beach is great, the only thing i found irritating, a lot of gnats and mosquitoes. There is a beach next to this one (to the right) that is better because no one goes there, you have to go using a car/motocycle or 4wheeler, there's also a river close (to the left) if you... More

No beach is private in the DR, but sometimes the access is. In this case the public access is complicated, but it doesn't matter since you will find a beautiful beach, small, protected by two small rocky peaks. Some waves to make it more fun. Some locals come to enjoy it. And some of them offer you piña colada, Presidente... More
