There are so many things to do from here, there really is something for everyone. You can do self guided tours or go on organised tours with knowledgeable guides to suit a range of budgets. Well worth a stop for a night or two or three. The amenities are exceptional.

Amazing park so much to see and do.. park pass and accom is a bit expensive. Staff were friendly at the visitor center and you can buy food and drinks there. Great 4wd tracks and the George is stunning ! So worth the effort

We love to get to ELQ whenever we can. I especially love staying at the private campsites as your nearest neighbour is 200-300m away and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility that the Kimberley has to offer, situated on the Pentacost river some of the private campsites offer a safe waterhole you can have a dip in. You are... More

We had a wonderful day at El Questro Just enough intermittent cloud to privide some welcome shade from the sun but absolutely need sun tan lotion, hat, sun glasses and decent walking shoes, not forgetting your bathers. I only had decent walking sandals that are fine for the easy tracks such as on our walk to the beautiful Zebedee Springs... More

My husband and I only stayed one night at the station, but we should've booked for longer. Getting there was exciting in itself, as we had to cross several creeks with flowing water, including the Pentecost river. You need a good four-wheel-drive vehicle to do this in April. The food at the restaurant in the station was excellent. The highlight... More

I thoroughly enjoyed 'glamping' at El Questro and there was so much to see and do - hikes; waterfalls; lookouts; clear, starry skies and amazing flora. The food was fantastic and other visitors were friendly and up for a chat. Staff were happy and helpful. My only complaint was that I had to leave too soon.

We headed north to drive the Gibb River road (from Perth), in mid April, knowing full well that it wasn't open yet. Got to Broome and decided to skirt round to Kununurra. We knew that ELQ was open, so headed in from the Eastern end of the Gibb. It's a sealed road into ELQ turn off and a dirt road... More

We stayed in the self-contained rooms at the Station, which were somewhat spartan and a little in need of some TLC given the price and reputation - perfectly adequate but by no means luxurious. However the purpose of the trip was outdoors not indoors, and outdoors did not disappoint. We hired guide Mick for a full day tour, which was... More

Did a day visit, which we enjoyed, and the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, but found prices for extra tours/ attractions were a bit out of our budget. It's a fabulous place to stay/ visit, and would recommend if you wanted a great Kimberley experience, with lots of things to do.

Only called in for the day but will come back to stay next time for sure. Went for a helicopter flight which was spectacular although I was gripping the seat most of the time :)
