Did the Honeyeater trail from Airlie town to the lookout, 3hr return trip,10km. Steep roads to the start of the track, and was medium going all the way up. View from top is nice. Nice bush land & the path is sheltered from the sun which made the walk so much better!

Take a short drive from Airlie Beach to Conway National Park stopping to take a stroll along quiet Conway Beach and then pop into Cedar Creek Falls to take a photo or two or swim. After recent rains, the falls were flowing well.

There are a number of good short (and some very long) walking options in the National Park. We did a coastal forest walk near Shute Harbour and a rainforest walk from Brandy Creek. Definitely worth an explore if you have a car. The short walks are easy enough for most fitness levels. There is a multi day walk as well and mountain bike options. …
