Excellent pool to swim in. Changing rooms/toilets. Central. Life Guards. Wasn't crowded in February 2021 - nice place to spend a few hours swimming.

It’s FREE!! Family friendly, Clean & have life guards The lagoon is a stunning and well managed add on to the beach foreshore. We absolutely loved spending our afternoons cooling off hanging at the lagoon

Multiple return visits Always clean - visible cleaners onsite Not crowded except on weekends Life guards onsite Have been to Cairns and Townsville - no comparison Cairns whilst has the wet edge type look- small and busy

Creatively designed, lagoon pool for families, great for children. Has superintendent on duty & best of all, one does not have to worry about salt crocodile attacks , as crocodiles live down the Proserpine River closeby
