We loved visiting the lagoon and were there nearly every day!!! It is so easy and wonderful. Lay your towel and explore the large lagoon with varying depths, features and positions. Plus it's free! There is a sheltered area with barbecues, sandy Beach like shores and glorious green grass to reside to, catch your breath or work on your tan.... More

Great views but the water is warm like a bath. We were there on some hot days and did not find the water refreshing at all.

A perfect place to go with little people. The swimming lagoon is nicely set up in front of the beach. There are picnic area and BBQ. A playground is nearby.

Awesome place to take your kids- big or small. Shallow pools and deep ones with beautiful grass surrounding the area. It's right on the beach with plenty of parking and a play ground next to the toddler pool.

This Airlie Beach lagoon ain’t any "ersatz beach" or a true "lagoon" at all - far from it! It is a warmish/hot hi-chlorinated public pool with stagnant "FRESH-ish" WATER that ain’t fresh at all. It stinks of chlorine and sulphuric organics decomposing. Watch out for ear-infections and lurking “lurgies”. This is not what a A/B visitor expect....located next to the... More

The best outdoor pool I have ever visited! It's huge clean and was never too busy. Seconds to nearest bars and restaurants.

Although Airlie Beach is sandy and has a swimming area with protective nets this is the town's most popular sunbathing and swimming area. It is a huge lagoon with hard surface and grass sunbathing areas. There is a shallow section for kids/families and a deep water section for swimming. Lifeguards patrol and its all for free! The lagoon is really... More

This is an ideal location in the center of Airlie Beach. Covered areas with picnic tables and a great place to swim or walk in the water. The lagoon is very long with bridges and a great view of the water.
