It sure is a nice experience, but nothing worth as the ride is only about for 20-30seconds But nonetheless its a steep steep climb and you can choose to ANGLE your seats in 2 or 3 angles

if you haven't tried this you havent seen the true beauty of katoomba, best activity to discover, very safe, enjoyable, very nice, highly recommended 10/10 hold your breath on way down folks!!

You don't need to walk up the stairway. You can easily take the steep train. So if you want to feel the burn take the stairs up and go down the train.
