One of those "must visit" places
One of those "must visit" places. I came here 13 years ago and now again. Photos don't do any justice to how amazing and beautiful this place can be. The blue mist is so beautiful. There is a little gift shop which has nice souvenirs. The Honeymoon walk (where you can walk underneath the Three Sisters) was closed on my visit due to safety hazard.

Blue Mountains and Three Sisters is worth of visit
Blue Mountains is definitely a place worth of visit, if you are interested of nature. Take a morning train from Sydney to Katoomba and in ~2 hours you are at Blue Mountains. There you can make 2-3 hour walk to see The Three Sisters and parts of Blue Mountains. You have change to see Australian nature and maybe some wildlife. Katoomba has nice shops and cafes, so you can do some shopping and have lunch or coffee before returning to Sydney.

    The best vista in Oz
Simply stunning views over the cliffs, valleys and distant ridges from the principal viewing point in the Blue Mountains. But, of course, it’s overrun with people taking selfies, with the spectacular view a mere incidental backdrop. Ignore that, and just soak up the best vista in Oz.

    Stunning!!!
This is in essence the same activity as "Echo Point Lookout" so I'll just paste the same review for this one as well: If you have a chance to visit, you absolutely should, the views are AMAZING! You should also reserve enough time (an hour or two) to be able to walk along the tracks going into different directions. It doesn't take much to get away from the crowded spots and there are so many beautiful sights and lookout points basically just around the corner.

I would recommend the walk from the echo point. they have a very interesting walk to the 3 sisters. they have depictions of the animals that may roam the forest which I think is interesting.

there is a steep descent which in return becomes a steep climb ( can be slightly difficult for almost all). also some narrow parts.

We were last here in 2012 and I feel now did not do this attraction justice.
There is clearly work being done here to improve viewing but generally things are very good. We walked along some of the still open paths and enjoyed the stunning views. The whole site is well maintained and there was very little rubbish. Boards are informative and generally the whole experience is very good.

The expansive view from Echo Point lookout over the valley toward Mt. Solitary in the distance is highlighted by the Three Sisters. The easy 15 minute walk from the lookout down to the giant stairway (very steep & narrow stairs) is worth the effort. If you’re brave you can descend down the stairs (solid steel stairs very safe) to the timber walkway to the first Sister for some magnificent photo opportunities.

From the Echo Point there are two walks. The short one is called Three Sisters Walking Track, which leads to the Three Sisters. It is located to the left had side of the information centre. The long one is called Prince Henry Cliff Walk, which is more interesting in my opinion, but very long. It is not a loop walk so you have to calculate the time going and coming back.

When approaching the end of Three Sisters Walking Track, there are steep stairs leading to the Honeymoon bridge. Families with young children should be very careful to remind and even hold the children tightly. On our way down there one family ahead of us got a boy about 8 years of age somehow slipped on his back and got a cut. The Honeymoon bridge leads to the Three Sisters. Yet once you crossed the bridge, you would have arrived at the end of the walk. Then you will have to walk the same way back.

We arrived on a wet day. Some parts of the Prince Henry walk was almost covered in shallow water. Lucky for us, we got rainboots so it was not a big deal. The view was amazing. You get to see the top of the trees and the birds flying from one tree to another. And they are so far away from you and therefore so small. The colour of trees change from green gradually to blue as you look further. You can hear the wind blowing through the leaves making soft gentle sounds when the wind is small, whereas loud scary sounds when the wind is strong. The plants alongside the way are diverse. The air is fresh and it smells like trees, leaves and soil. We only reached half way though, as the time was a bit limited. However, it did not hold back any of our enjoyment of this great feeling of being soaked in nature and embraced by the mountains.

There is very little walking involved when visiting here. There is parking available, but the costs to park in the car park are expensive and we parked a few streets away for free.

The views here of the 3 sisters are fantastic, and there are really good and well maintained footpaths to Katoomba falls and other sites if you want to stretch your legs further.

This is probably the number one place to visit in the Blue Mountains. It is iconic and beautiful with the most spectacular views. An absolute must when visiting the blue mountains.

We drove up from Sydney for the day, with 4 kids aged 3-9.
After a short walk in Wentworth falls we went to scenic world, planning to walk down then get the Scenic railway up (which I'd last done about 20 years ago!). Things have changed a bit, and there is now a huge center there with 3 different "rides". It is a bit commercial on once sense, but offers amazing access and views to families like ours. We did all the "attractions" and loved them all. The walk along the wooden boardwalk through the rain-forest was really amazing, and we all loved the ride up and down, then across the valley. We were there for about 3 hours, but could easily spend a whole day there.
There were very few people there, apparently due to the fires from the summer, but there was really no sign of fire damage at all. Highly recommend a visit!!

Great place to visit when in Sydney and in the surrounding area. Very worth the drive or the convenient train ride to experience both the lookouts and the cable car. Too bad it was very foggy when we were there but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem except driving in fog was a little scary. Great place to visit!

Been here twice now. Previously, although freezing, it was a brilliant view of the three sisters. Had a little walk to see different viewpoints as well. Then popped to the cafe for coffee and went to the gift shop. This time however, we have learned that it's important to check the weather before travelling. Literally no view, only mist. Was silly to not check but hopefully this review makes people think. When it's a good day though it's fab. Would definitely recommend.

What a spectacular view of the ranges and valley below, such an iconic Australian landmark to behold. This is a short walk from the information centre which is easy but at the end there is a few steep steps.

Very busy due to tourists which is expected due to being a great destination.
