This was not what we had expected at all. Very cool little shop and coffee shop attached. Cosy and warm to sit and relax with a nice play area for children.

Wandered into the Island Beehive today with no expectations of what would be available - were thrilled to be taken on an interesting & fun tour with Paula & see the honey extraction in progress! Purchased lots of honey related booty - great experience!

Hello. Thank you for your review. Its great to hear that you really enjoyed your tour with Paula. Glad you also picked up some honey purchases on your visit. Hope you can come back again one day.

I think you really have to be interested in honey to appreciate this place. We tasted 4 types of honey and wandered through the displays but decided to not stay for the guided tour, particularly as the honey harvesting was not happening that day.

Thank you for making a review. It is a pity you did not get the chance to see the harvesting in action but unfortunately we do not extract every day (we wish). Enjoy the rest of your travels.

Great place to drop for honey tasting and a coffee. Nice atmosphere and well priced. Enjoyed the scones with honey out on the deck.

Walked into this place and spent at least 15 minutes looking at all the produce and gifts. Not one person acknowledged our presence or asked if we needed any assistance. So we walked out!!! Can't believe this happens on KI.More

Good place for the quick tourist fix. The honey and samples were fantastic (as all KI honey is!). Though, it felt more of a showcase gift shop on a tourist route rather than a personable and interactive experience.

First off, thank you for your review. I am glad you made the stop with us. It is unfortunate you did not find us personable or interactive. We do personalised tours and try to make these as interactive as possible. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Don't want to compare with Cliffords, but I will! It's very well presented and has lots of things to look at and buy but more expensive than Clifford's. I think a visitor from interstate would be more impressed with this shop. Cute looking building too!

Free honey sampling, a great gift shop and offcourse honey scones from the coffee shop. Bought two jars of sugar gum honey and hoping that my diabetes does not go out of whack.
