We knew there was a possibility of not seeing too many penguins however we were lucky to see about 4 groups of 5-6 penguins. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and you could sense her passion for looking after the penguins. Great learning experience for kids.

Reasonably priced. Great experience seeing the little blue penguins in their natural habitat. Learned a lit about them and saw them walk I g back home and some in their little nests. Great experience.

This was the best tour we did in Tasmania! It was so professional organised and we saw penguins within minutes of arriving at the beach and they don't seem to be scared of humans so we get to see them quite close up. Our guide...More

We booked the Penguin tour in advance and were eagerly anticipating seeing the penguins. I was aware that this was the season where there were very few penguins to be seen - we visited here in March. However, the steep price of $36 per person...More

Got to see the fairy penguins in their natural habitat. Very professionally run, very eco friendly. They don’t disturb the penguins and actually have added more burrows for them. Got to see them up close and personal. Got to see them coming up from the...More

Yes. You had better call them. The penguins, I believe are 'viewable' all year round. At night they walk into Bicheno too.
