Worth the drive to get there through the country side. A bit of a walk from each end to the actual fall. The falls appear to be in about three sections so don't think you have got to the main bit towards the bottom.

Delightful walk with my teenage children here today. My son had a photography assignment for school and I thought where better! 50 minute drive from Launceston, via Carrick, was pleasant - particularly once off the highway, and the walk though steep on the return climb is all well graded, marked and maintained. Probably took us 60 minutes return (with 20... More

Well worth the short trip to access. The falls are beautiful and it's mesmerizing to just sit and watch the water cascading down over the rocks. One of Tasmania's most well known and beautiful falls.

Well worth the visit, moderately busy, but plenty of room on a glorious walking track through 10mtr tall tree ferns in abundance with many fern variations & rainforest trees. The final approach to the c/park is approx 8klm, of well maintained single lane gravel road. (We drove a Suzuki Swift without a problem) Be aware of oncoming cars. There are... More

While not the most spectacular falls, these falls offer a great walk in the bush and a pretty spot to spend a few hours. These falls have also not suffering the over tourist issues that now faces many other sites in Tasmania.

Lovely falls, well worth the gravel road and walk down and back up the hill. We were very lucky to come to see them on the first day they were open after seven months. Only the access from the Deloraine side has been finished but this is now in very good condition and the road, although gravel, is good.

What a wonderful day we had meandering our way done the Forrest pathway to the amazing Liffey Falls. There was t much water today so we were able to cross and have our lunch in the cave. Take a back pack and a wattle bottle. It's a 45 minute round trip walk with several decks to stop and see the... More
