We headed to the Koala conservation centre. This was a bit dull and didn't really live up to my expectations. After walking through the entire place we spotted only 5 koalas sitting high up. They are quite shy and prefer their treetops and branches.

If you are looking for an experience to see koalas up close, then this is a place you should visit. We were able to take good photos of a koala who was parading around its enclosure just over an arm's length away. However, give, koalas...More

We went there during the school holidays, the weather was not the best in the morning but after a wile the sun made the morning very nice. You can see the Koalas very close, some asleep and some eating. The place is full of very...More

The Koala Conservation Centre shows the creatures in their own habitat. There are a couple of easily accessible boardwalks which allowed us close access to the koalas. We also saw black swans and wallabies. The money raised goes to the conservation of all native wildlife...More

There are a lot of koalas but they're hidden very well! The entrance is 12,5 dollars per adult. There are many paths to see koalas and walking trhough the trees.

A few koalas are around, but it takes some effort to spot them. Be mindful that this is a conservation centre, not wildlife park or zoo, so the koalas are in their natural habitat. Hence they can be located rather high up the tree.

Excellent up close to animals. It's feels a little run down when entering park but great experience.

Not a great deal. It is cool for those who have never seen Koalas up close, but in general I found a bit disappointing.

You can buy tickets at the counter. However if you buy 3 parks pass which includes Koala Conservation Sanctuary, Penguin Parade and Churchill Island you will save some $s as it is cheaper to buy them together.
