Wasn't disappointed! All the hype and legendary tales were so true! We got to walk down the steps to the beach and watch the surfers catch a few waves. Got inspired and got some boogie boards and hit some smaller surf near our hotel!

If you are a surfer then this place is amazing. However be aware that there are many steep stairs to be climbed to reach it. The waves can be huge however some days very poor also but if you are after views out across the ocean then its a beautiful spot for photos all along the huge cliffs. Parking is... More

This place is an easy stop, park, get out of your car, walk some steps and you are there. It is so beautiful! we walked on the beach and decided to get out legs in the ocean. The ocean is crazy rough here. Really a surfers paradise and not for regular swimming. the waves were taller than me and even... More

A beautiful beach, lovely to have a paddle in the waves, great for photos. Easy parking and an easy walk down to the beach.

Bells Beach was one of the places I had been looking forward to seeing on our road trip. Such an iconic spot and the perfect start to the great ocean road. Even though the waves weren't all that impressive the day we came you can still sit back and appreciate that you're somewhere special.

We made the stop at Bells Beach a few weeks ago as it is a world class surf spot and was also a partial location for the Point Break movie that didn’t suck at the time it was released. Swayze’s giant head, Keanu’s stunned look and Gary Busey’s coke addiction all were here back in the day. The beach is... More

Ever since I was little we have been coming to Bells. Love the beach, the playground for the kids and if your lucky the great weather to match.

The best thing about Bells Beach is its untouched beauty. Unlike other popular tourist destinations this beach has not been ruined to make a profit. Expect nothing else except rugged Australian cliffs and an uninterrupted horizon. Kangaroos often feed in the paddocks across from the beach.

Bells Beach is the surf capital of Australia. When the surf is pumping its amazing to watch the local surfers carve up the waves.
