A great memorial and some good views to the town and beaches around. Make your way up and don't miss the fortress and lookout on Mt Adelaide!

This is a well done memorial with great views. If you are in the area, this is worth a visit but does not encompass enough to warrant a special trip.

I visited the war memorial and rod my bicycle from the port. There is a 223 m climb to the memorial with a steep grade approaching 20% at the end. From the memorial, there is a view of Albany and the region. At the memorial, there is a statue and foundation that were salvaged from Egypt after the Suez incident.... More

Went for a quick walk early one morning and was so captivated by the great walks, ended up here. The view alone was spectacular, but the statue and the visage of the stairs leading up to it, added another dimension. The quotes and information contained on either side of the stairs leading up to the statue were really effective and... More

You can't drive past this memorial on your way in or out of the ANZAC memorial, the views are spectacular and the memorial itself just gives you another appreciation for what we have and what our heirs went through

This memorial avenue with plaques, long staircase and cenotaph is exceptionally well designed and built in 2014, so it's in pristine condition. It's refreshing but a little sad to read excerpts from letters etc sent from the front by our young heroes, thousands of whom never came home. Nearby is the impressive ANZAC Memorial and views from the top of... More

Tastefully done memorial. Quite a few steps but worth it. Look out for the skinks along the way. The views from the top are quite special. Enough parking. View over the gholf course half way up. Bird life too. There are gum trees lining the road up commemorating the fallen. Well done.

The memorial sits close to the top of Mt Clarence at the back of Albany and has been well designed and is an excellent memorial. You can use the lower car park and walk the 500 meters of steps to the memorial or drive to the upper level car park. There are excellent views of Albany and surrounding areas from... More

When visiting the National ANZAC Centre, be sure to attend this memorial too to pay your respects to those who have gone before us and given their lives for our freedoms today
