If you visit Albany Heritage Park, be sure to see the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial. It's a climb to the memorial, but worth it.

A wonderful tribute that is very impressive. Take a walk up the path and steps or if unable to walk that far you can drive to the car park next to the monument. It's really worth a visit and it also has fantastic views.

Great walk up if you want to. Very well laid out and clearly quite a bit of money (well) spent here. Be sure to go to the walkway behind the monument for the spectacular 360 degree views of Albany.
