Good place to visit for a quick look and it is cheap to get in. Not a lot of reading mainly just look around at the old cells.

We love looking back in time and how things used to be. Had a great chat with the staff, they knew a lot too. Walking around the museum there were a few surprises. Lots of fun!

Hoping to do the Ghost Tour but there were not enough guests. Daytime tour of this almost original old building was interesting with great intro talk from guide. Exhibits are well explained - some a little a quirky.

There are 31 rooms to explore. This museum gives you a taste of Albany's criminal past and lets you see how justice was administered in the 19th century.

Worth a visit and only $5 adult, $2.50 child. Easily found near The Brig Amity replica ship and parking is also very close.

It seems to be run by Public servants. It is right next to the Amity Brigg. The thing is because people on holiday do tend to eat a long lunch it closes way too early. Last admission is about 3:30pm. You get locked out if...More

Great place to visit. Extremely interesting in regard to the information on the war also displays of what the old goal would have been like, mind boggling. Recommend this to everyone, won't be disappointed.
