This museum was recommended to me by a lady at the Anzac Centre. I'm glad I took the time to visit. There is a beautiful National Geographic exhibition on at the moment. Along with Aboriginal culture and history exhibitions. Its a must visit.

Great for kids - the activities in the main area were really engaging and outside the old school room and Brig Amity will keep them busy. There was a great photography exhibition upstairs while I was there and it ended up being a great day...More

A rare tour of a Brigg and how the passengers lived for 6 weeks at sea. Informative tour as you walk through the Brigg.

Nice little museum to see and you get more history of both the indigenous and early settlement history. There are lots of things to do around the museum called the Amity Trail

The museum incorporates The Residency and outbuildings as well as a full size replica of The Brig Amity with an interesting and informative commentary. The museum had an excellent display of The World at War featuring Naval battles.
