Very nice, quite beach. There is only one hotel by the beach so not too crowded. Restaurant by the beach are very expensive, so bring snacks. There is a Kiosk with sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. but I would not recomended.

Take your time and enjoy the beach, don't forget to visit the archaeological site just 100m from the beach

Nice sandy beach. However a bit stony bottom, in the water, and with quite a bit of seaweed (we thought the beach management real easy could have cleaned up, considering all the tourists coming to this beach).

Makronissos beach is a beautiful beach loads of activities including Makronissos dive centre. Very helpful great dives including wreck dives. Superb.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus. Perfect soft sand and crystal clear water. Suitable also for families with children! Will go back!!!

Its a 4km walk. Not sure about taxi cost, but there are regular bus routes along the main avenue that leads to the beach.

Yes there are also foot showers to rinse the sand from your feet as well as full size showers
