Great old church that is still in great shape.I believe that masses are still served there. It was opened in 1276. I did not go in because it was closed at the time, but the Tourist office said that it was a must see,

There's many great free churches you can go to in Europe.. This one isn't really worth an admission however it's one of the best examples in Badajoz.

Open for only limited hours, this cathedral evokes ages past with its side chapels and huge choir in the middle of the nave. Hoi poloi worshipers are relegated to the sides.

We arrived at the Cathedral late morning. My wife went in, paid and was told she had to leave in 10 minutes max.. We arrived five minutes later and were told to **** off.

Althrough, this church architecture is different from others, the structure is still beautiful and worth to visit. This place is also famous for Badajoz people where most celebration events are arranged here.
