Can highly recommend a visit to cellar door a short drive - about 5 mins - from Mudgee. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and quality wines. Lots of styles to choose from but the Port was great. Local gourmet produce and hampers too.

Savoury reds ( mostly Spanish varieties), sustainable organic vines, great views, friendly staff & good prices too! If you want other stuff, yummy local produce at Mudgee Gourmet & Schnapps/ Gin + spirits at Baker Williams distillery are a stagger away!

Vinifera specialises in Spanish style wines and produces some good ones. I think the best thing about the winery though, is the fact it sells local produce like olives and olive oils. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they had a red wine on special.

The lady here knew her wines and even recommended other stops for the type of wine we preferred. Six bottles purchased. There were condiments also for sale. Nice grounds invited us to have a go at badminton!

We enjoyed a relaxing BBQ and a game of croquet - a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!! There is also a distillery to visit and sample some of... More

We recently visited Vinifera Winery for the second time and stocked up on their Semillon and Gran Tinto wines. They are lovely and are a Spanish style wine. They also have a fab selection of local produce such as jams, nuts, olive oils. Even better, there is now Baker Williams Distillery attached to the winery and their Butterscotch Schnapps is... More

Lovely, friendly people with a good selection of wine and local products. Especially LOVE Baker Williams Distillery which is onsite. Amazing Butterscotch Schnapps!! All visitors to Mudgee MUST visit Vinifera Wines and Baker Williams Distillery.

We spent a few hours here over Easter, and the hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful people. Would recommend this cellar door to anyone visiting Mudgee, especially if you have a genuine interest in wine and discussing it with the wine maker.

Thank Tery
