Since our last visit, National Parks have upgraded the path with sandstone steps in places, new carpark and a there is a viewing platform under construction. A lovely short walk, a special place.

What a lovely place to pull into for a break. The Drip George pull-in offers plenty of parking, toilets, tables & lots of room for the children to play. It appears that this area has been updated recently with nice facilities

Excellent setting, beautifully set out and maintained and an easy and interesting walk for children. A must see for a nature walk, complete with wombats

Had a lovely and easy walk here on a chilly winter morning. Our 18 month old and 3.5 year old managed a fair chunk of the walk (about 1km each way) on their own. The gorge was beautiful and we spotted lots of birds and...More

Mining company and National Parks are doing a wonderful job redoing the walk in, car park, picnic area and toilets. Only 1000 metres in from the carpark but well worth the walk in along side a clear running creek, with wild life around if your...More

Most people could do this walk. It's 2km return along a well defined track which is well maintained. The track is alongside a creek. There are a few steps along the way but nothing too challenging. Lovely walk for families with young children. Lots of...More

Beautiful place to walk. Nice outing with the family down to The Drip. There weren't many people on the day we went. Will be lovely when they finish updating it and the picnic area.

The Drip is magnificent. The kids loved it and the scenery fantastic. The only let down was that the carpark was closed for a major and much needed renovation, hence officially it does not exist for April. There has been a lot of maintenance done...More

Nice 1 hour walk (return), it was lovely walking along the large rock face. About 20 mins drive from Mudgee.

Hi, We saw 2 red-bellied black snakes... if I had my dogs I would definitely have them on leads just in case.

Hi, Just wondering if this walk would be ok with a baby in a carrier (not a pram)? Cheers!

Yes, however, there is one bit where it is a bit narrow to get through some rocks, so you might have to take the baby out at that stage. It is not a difficult walk if you are used to doing bush walks.
