We were actually prepared to get there and have the kids decide not to go. Maybe me too.....like I said I haven't ridden in years. Halie... More

We've been riding here for 6 years. The wranglers are friendly and the owners make you feel like family. My daughters favorite horse is Mutt-I think she loves him more than me!

I trust these reviews to steer me toward high quality businesses, so I feel obligated to share mine for you. If you are not an experienced rider, beware. I am not, but I have been on several trail rides at similar stables with excellent reviews and never have had a problem. We booked a 2hr ride, myself and my 4... More

I love to ride horses and enjoy taking my grandchildren. This was a cool day and cloudy but still enjoyed it.

We loved our two-hour ride through the beautiful forest near Porter Mountain Stables. The horses were very calm and cooperative, and our wrangler was friendly and a great tour guide! We'd highly recommend these stables to go horseback riding when in Show Low!

We took the 1 hour tour and it was a beautiful ride through the pine forest, through a stream and down to the lake. Our guide was wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Had a great ride with a wonderful wrangler Button. Gentle and clean horses. Very enjoyable. It was a beautiful day for a ride. Went to the Ice Cave, Salt Reservoir and Porter Mountain. Would highly recommend.

My girlfriend, daughter, and I had a great time on our two hour guided ride! We went through creeks, around the small lake to the ice cave. Great staff and horses!

We were a group of 11. Our ages ranged from 3 to 43. We were able to make reservations the same day. Their wranglers were fantastic and made everyone feel safe. The horses were well trained and the scenery was beautiful. You have to be 6 years old to ride, but they did a pony ride around the property for... More
