Visiting rincón with friends for a week and spent 1 day snorkeling with Taino divers. Brought to Desecheo island - a wildlife preserve, about an hour off the coast and snorkeled in 2 different areas around the island. Some on our boat were scuba diving. The underwater wasn't spectacular but it was good and the area was idyllic! We did... More

Signed up for what sounded like an amazing trip to desecheo island for snorkelling. Upon arrival were informed that it would be a local event l, like y sue to swells around the island. Local snorkelling was nice. The crew took care of my family and helped my son who was very apprehensive and not a risk taker. The local... More

This company could be top notch, but I can't recommend them. I'd love to see them do well as Rincon is a very special place. I recently went on a snorkeling trip to Desecheo Island. The snorkeling and locations were fantastic: we saw dolphins, octopus, spiny lobster, stingray, puffer fish, parrot fish...on and on. But, there were a few things... More

Many thanks to the entire team at Taino Divers! Greg Carson, Izzy, Frank, Rocky and Waldo are superior dive masters, instructors, captains, mates, and fun fellows. The experience was a 10 from gear, location, knowledge, instruction, personalities, and guidance. We had warm beautiful days. Desecheo island doesn't disappoint. Whales, nurse shark, rays, turtles, fishes of all shapes sizes and colors,... More

Went on the Desecheo Island snorkel trip, with a boatful of scuba divers who were all friends. The captain & first mate, along with everyone else were friendly and helpful. Visibility was great. Was able to float around with a fun noodle. Awesome overall. The snacks (pasta salad especially) were delicious. A bit of advice, if you are a novice... More

Went out to Desecheo Island with Taino Divers for the express purpose of checking it off my MTP list. Went as a morning snorkeler; underwater beauty. Was told one foot always had to be in the water to be legal with the authorities. I complied. While there, we had a Coast Guard helicopter fly-by and a DHS power boat keeping... More

Honest shop about the weather and possibility of not going. But we went and had a blast!! Quick trip on the boat over. Only 6 divers, 2 DM's, and 2 snorkelers. Dove Candyland and the Aquarium. My buddy and I don't breathe so we were good and adhered to the 60 min limit but the rest of the group sucked... More

Great dive with great staff. Had a couple deep dives with amazing viz and some awesome crew members. No whales, which was unfortunate, but we saw sharks, dolphins, turtles, and plenty of other fish. Shot some lion fish to cook up also. Highly recommend diving with this shop!

Thank Sean C
