Our visit to the park was a last minute thing. We packed up a picnic and our swimmers and headed there. You can hire guides to take you through the caves, for us, we just crossed the bridge and climbed over some rocks to find a spot away from the main area, where we could eat lunch and swim in... Biak na Bato was amazing! My boyfriend and I had to split the bill for the tour guide so it was quite expensive (P800) with just the both of us but we loved it! The caves were amazing and haunting. I loved the trivia provided by our tour guide, too. We had a lot of fun although we were a... More

The national park is a must visit in San Miguel. Beautiful clear rivers flows across the park covered with lush greenery. But u can't really take a plunge just anywhere in the river, there's a specific area for that, safety reasons cited. There's a huge bat cave too. For a small fee you can get a guide throughout the national... More

PROS: Beautiful place. The caves and views were amazing. Enjoyed my one-day tour here with a friend. Arrived at around 11:00am or 12noon I guess, explored the place for 3 hours. With the help of a tour guide (cave) but we did it ourselves after the cave tour. CONS: Too dangerous to explore if you are travelling alone. There were... More

The Biak na bato national park is really good! It showcases the locations of katipuneros when they fought against spaniards ( i think). They have good activities like Rappeling, water wading and more! The scenery is really magnificent! The rivers are really clean, clean surroundings, big trees and friendly people!

Biak na Bato is a national park, though it doesn't have that sense and scale of grandness of other national parks. It's a decent day trip coming from Manila (it's relatively near), but the attractions leave much to be desired. The trails are cemented and well-marked, making this less of an adventure and more of a guided walk through a... More

I recommend good footwear because the terrain is not very friendly, it takes a lot of effort and quite exhausting. Claustrophobic people shouldn't go to the underground caves because it's very cramped.

Two hours or less from manila, located in San Miguel, Bulacan, good for people who would like to experience nature without going too far from the city. Biak na bato is known for both its historical and natural value. This used to serve as haven for the group of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Biak-na-Bato is home to hundreds of little and... More
