After Kecak Fire & Trance Dance at Uluwatu Temple, We didn't seem to enjoy this.! The price of the show was quite steep and the folk pattern of the dance was quite similar to Kecak Fire & Trance Dance which was more lively! People on short tours to Bali can easily skip this one! You would by typical statues of... More

The price of the show is 100,000 local currency which we initially thought was a little expensive especially as this was not part of our included tour. However we were impressed as the show lasted An hour. It is important that you read the included description of the show so that you understand each scene. The performers outfits were spectacular.... What a great show of music and theatre that even my 2 year old followed along with. We arrive about 15mins late which meant the show was about 45mins long but that was ok. They give an "act" explanation at the entry so you can follow with what is going on. Great show, great experience

Our first time watched Barong dance in Bali. We were suggested by our driver to watch this dance as part of the tour. Overall nice place to include in our day trip.

A lot of day tours drop by this show which runs about an hour. You are seated in rows facing a stone stage out the front of a temple. There are a lot of musicians to the right of the stage (about 14 if I recall correctly) plus half a dozen or more performers so I guess the 100,000 rupiah... More

Not bad at all but just not my cup of tea. Music gets a bit loud and monotonous after a while and the plot of the play develops very slowly.

As theatregoers we were interested to see this as part of our guided day tour, but it took a long time to build up to any onstage action, and whilst difficult to understand (thankfully we could read the leaflet we were given to help explain the story!) the culture and tradition was very prominent. I would definitely recommend seeing at... More

if you want to spend some time (and money) to see culture and hear it as well - please visit it. I don't believe that Kids will be excited about it but as an adult you start to appricieate more culture and how currently all that start to vanish..

It's not a must see. A lot of people were talking, taking too many selfies, and didn't really pay attention because the dance is slow to start and not a lot of action. The dance and the story is supposed to be very traditional for the locals but was made into an entertainment show, which I didn't like and would... More

We didn't finish the show. We were surprised on how they modified the dance by making it funny but in a terrible way. The monkey and one of the characters started humping which was the start of a major turn off. We can see other tourists shaking their heads in disbelief but sadly, majority were happily laughing. They did other... More
