2km walk up the hill to see the ancient Dacian settlement. This place is incredibly peaceful early in the morning. Really quiet, no intrusive noises at all. Well worth the visit

it is a beautiful place, quiet and good for a light hike trough the site. If you are fascinated about history and ruins then you are in the right place.

Very nice place. Sarmisegetusa is very important for Romania and for romanians. The road placed nearby is fabulous.
