Fabulous area around the Castle. 50 to park 2-300 to get on a tour and well worth the money compared to a lot of other places in the world. Try tour 2 first as this was good, long and lots to see. Ice cream was...More

It is a long ago since my wedding was happening here. Still having romantic moments in my mind when thinking of this castle. It is a hunting style castle you have to see if your are into European history of 18th-20th century,

Konopiste is around an hour away from Prague by train, then around half an hour walk from the station to the castle itself. There is a small shuttle train from the castle to the station and back, but I'm not sure how the schedule works....More

The interior of this castle, the last home of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination led to World War I, is accessible by guided tour only (and requires tickets). The grounds and garden, however, are open to all free of charge.
