Charming Baroque UNESCO site in Czech style. Having walked around the village we went to the museum where we we shown around by the owner. He spoke very good English and was very proud of his relics depicting Czech rural life from yesteryear. You can spend as long as you like and he was quite happy to talk as long as... More

Very nice village, very well preserved since 19th century. Not far from Cesky Krumlov and Ceske Budejovice, good for short stay. Very friendly and competent staff in infocenter. Unique architecture - worth to be an UNESCO treasure.

When travelling to Český Krumlov or Hluboká castles take just 20 minutes to make a short walk on the main square of a baroque village Holašovice which is under Unesco heritage. It is a must to visit it - not one and only, but in the combination.

Holasovice is a beautiful, small Czech town very close to Krumlov and Ceske Budejovice. It's on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list and although it's quite small it's very picturesque and a nice place to spend 30 mins or so exploring. There's one little restaurant right in the center of the town that offers a selection of drinks and a... More

The village itself is UNESCO site, thus we decided to go and to see. The village is really small and nice place, but actually you walk it all around by about 15 minutes, and then there is nothing else to do. There is also some place near the central square, called Stonehenge - please, don't go! It has nothing to... More

Nice village with authenthic XIX-century baroque architecture - small, silent and woth to be visited. Plus nice park, 2 restaurants. I also recommend to visi other villages in neighbourhood - architecture is similar, maybe not so spectacular and mixed with other styles, but there is no tourists and you can take a beer or lunch just with local people.

Very nice place with colorful old-fashioned houses all over there. There is a "museum" on the square where a funny old man shows you his house - worth a while! Anyway, I didnt find anything else to do there. Ask for Mrs. Halova´s Wedding cakes - Must haves! You can get them in a local pub
