This is a lovely little museum just by the castle steps. An amazing selection of marionettes of various ages. Up in the rafters of an old building it was a little stuffy but well worth the visit

This was fun for a little while. It doesn’t take long to tour the little museum, maybe 30 minutes. It’s up in an attic, which adds to the atmosphere. Hardly anyone was in there and after a few short minutes we had the whole place...More

Probably the most boring museum I have ever visited - the gift shop is more interesting. It is simply a collection of marionettes and props from old theatres around a room with no information, stories or interaction. Definitely not worth visiting unless you are a...More

If you enjoy puppet theater, then make sure this is on your list. It is less a museum than a storage unit located in an attic, but we found many fun surprises as we explored its contents. Access requires taking a narrow stairway.

This museum holds marionettes that were previously used in the real shows. So that is unique and neat, but nothing special. No real explanation. I believe they have shows at 8pm at nights. You should go attend the show and you can see it then,...More

Same thing can be found in Prague. I would suggest not to go, and save your money for other things. Regarded from a side of enthusiast for these, it offers an interesting collection, but still it's not money well spent.
