Neighbourhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

    An unexpected but memorable experience!
We stopped to this place after seeing the advertising panel on the corner of the street. What a fantastic experience! David is a very friendly and passionate craftsman, he showed us how to create a glass from scratch, and he even let us help during the process. We learnt so many things and enjoyed our time with him. So if you are in Prague, do not hesitate to stop by PRAGL!

    Cool Experience
It was a cool experience, we had a great time. David is friendly and a skilled teacher. The result is awsome and we discovered a not very known profession which is glass blowing while enjoying a good czech beer. We highly recommand this activity.

    Amazing experience
A fantastic and unique experience. Before going to Prague a friend told me about this activity and I was looking forward to it the entire trip, and it did not disappoint. David and Kristina were very friendly and helpful, and the creation of your own glass piece is fun, easy and the result of which something to be proud of.

    Beat experience in Prague!
My boyfriend and I walked by this shop and saw a sign indicating live demonstrations. We popped in and we’re told we could look in as a family was making blown glass. The 4 year old made a pretty flower. The 9 year old made a glass and mom made a fluted bowl. We were so Impressed with David, the glass blower, that we e signed up to make some items the next day. David is very knowledgeable and personable and he made this experience one of the highlights of our experience in Prague. If you have time, you should definitely visit this shop and make a special souvenir with David to take home with you. Don’t wait for your last day in Prague as items must cool down & cure overnight and they can be picked up the following day.

A Must Do! Great for kids too.
My family (to include 2 children aged 8 & 10) had the best time. You are greeted by friendly staff and then handed off to your glass blowing host. We had the absolute pleasure of having David. He engages everyone with knowledge of his craft and the best humor. The adults can enjoy some beer during your time too. It’s definitely warm (which is to be expected) but not uncomfortable. This was the highlight of our stay in Prague and we cannot say enough great things about David and our beautiful pieces we walked away with. Highly recommend you give it a go.

A fun and interactive glass blowing experience
Would highly recommend. Had a wonderful time making a nice tumblr. When I was there I was with David Yule (the glass blower), we had a great chat whilst working on the glass. He also gave me some great recommendations of some places to go which would be a little bit less touristic.

Amazing birthday experience with Dave from Australia :)
Dave from Australia (glassblower) makes it a really easy, fun, and accessible experience! I went for my birthday and it was a great experience! The colors are beautiful and there is such a diverse range of options of what you can make! 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to come back and do it again! Go Dave (from Australia)!

    Blown Away!
Lovely experience, friendly staff. Our son got to help to make a small vase. Other choices were, tumbler, paper weight, small dish. Choice of colours and effects. He loved the experience and we would all highly recommend it. It didn't take too long, around 20 mins, which is just as well, as it is very hot in close proximity to the oven. But we didn't feel rushed. Requires collection the next day to allow to cool down. Don't wait until your last day to book.

Despite being Australian, David was very nice and knowledgeable! We had a great time and were only slightly roasted for our mistakes. Truly though we would do this again in a heartbeat! You can make a lot of different things and choose your colors. Just ask David and he will do his best to make your visions turn into glass reality. It was a slay.

My friend and I booked this experience and were not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by our host ...fellow Aussie David so there was a lot of banter and we definitely enjoyed the welcome glass of 11am beer! David was entertaining and knew his craft and explained each process that we would be involved in to make our husbands beer glasses. We were very pleased with the results when we picked up our pieces the next day...and it was such a pity that I later discovered an air bubble that had caused a small chip inside of my beer glass...ah well thems the breaks!!! I still have a beautiful souvenir and wonderful memories, and would definitely recommend doing this fun and unique experience!!

We visited pragl to learn about glass blowing and 'have a go'. We had such a a fun time. David was so interesting and helped us through the process of making our very own pieces of glass. This was great fun and I haven't stopped talking about it now we are home.
Highly recommend but don't go on the day you are leaving Prague as the glass needs to cool for 24hrs.

My wife and I visited PRAGL studio near to the ever-popular Old Town Square in Prague in March 2024. Lisa has a keen love of glass and was keen to see the exhibited works and see if she could book a go at either glass blowing or lamp work.
We had a friendly chat with the crafts persons and watched a visiting group from Hong Kong who seemed to be having a lot of fun blowing glass. We booked a double back-to-back session of 30 minutes blowing followed by 30 minute lamp work. Lisa had a great time. The experts were very patient and encouraging and made the experience a lot of fun. Lisa produced 2 pieces that she was very pleased with. Additionally she was gifted the lamp work piece that had been created via a step-by-step demonstration of the techniques she needed to follow.
I think we were quite lucky as there wasn't another booking following our visit towards the end of the day so we overran our allotted time but we were never hurried to finish.
If you are even slightly intrigued by glass then this experience is well worth the time and cost.
Thank you to all the friendly staff at PRAGL.
