The music club Jazz Republic has held concerts since 1997 pretty much without a break. Aside from providing a space for predominantly Czech musicians, the club management has also introduced the Prague audience to foreign artists representing...more
We’ve been in Prague for 4 nights, and been to this brilliant place for 3 of those nights! It’s free, friendly, and the quality of players is up there with some of the top clubs we’ve been to. The first set is 9.15 to 10.15....More
This is such a chilled place, great live music on both nights that we visited, lovely staff, very friendly atmosphere, would thoroughly recommend it if you're in Prague. If you want to sit where you can see the band then I'd suggest booking, but there's...More
This place is a hidden gem right in the middle of all the activity,...

I love this venue. It’s underground, feels very authentic but not grimey.

No cover, no minimum, online table reservations, great tunes, a good acoustical room that makes for high listenability, pretty good snacky food (nachos, sandwiches) too. You're likely to have a great time for not too much cash. What's not to like?
We more or less "happened on" this venue, and had a really wonderful evening - great jazz in an intimate setting for the cost of the beer and snacks we chose (no minimum and no sales pressure).
We came here the first night and every night after that because it seemed to be the greatest place. They have different band playing every night. There can be a fee for the main room but then you are always allowed to sit around the...More
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the
modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
