It's a small room with few posters, you are charged 60 CzK if you decide to enter. I think it should not be called a museum.

This museum is really just one tiny room, chock full of posters and information. When I walked in, I though it was standing in an entry way, but that was the whole of the museum, one room about 10 feet x 10 feet. That being said, the posters gave a good overview of Kepler, his work and influences. It was... More

The museum is really not much more than posters that in all honesty does well to explain it all but it is a little small. The museum is located in his old Prague residence but could be extended further. The exhibition was quite overpriced for what it was. I'm not asking for much more but at least some actual artefacts... More

Informative, if small, room full of information, and a few demonstrations, of the man, the science, and the history of Johannes Kepler. It is located in the place Kepler lived when he worked in Prague, just down the street from the Klementium. Wonderful adjunct to the Klementium's Observatory; we discovered this place based on a recommendation from a wonderful tour... More

The museum covered most of the information about Kepler, but it resides in a really small "room".. :(

It seems the high reviews here are for Kepler the man, not this single small room with boards and placards describing Kepler. This room is down a long dank alley that we were leaving until someone at the end pointed around the corner, knowing what we may be looking for. True, the admission is very low, like 60 CZK or... Museum is small, actually, it is not even museum but one room with posters/information panels about Kepler's work and life. I read about people complaining that there was not much to see, but I found this visit worthwhile. Museum is in the very building/room where Kepler used to live and work during his stay in Prague. Personally, I appreciated the... More

There is nothing but a few posters. It could be anywhere and again was terrible. Using Wikipedia you could get a lot more for free. I was kind of shocked when I saw what paid for was a room with a few funny posters.

This is a great little museum. For anyone who wants to find out about Kepler and even for those, like me, that already knew a bit about this extraordinary person. In the middle of the very tourist areas, a small island of tranquil knowledge.

It is one room with a lot of information on panels and posters. Going there focused our minds of what Kepler did and gave some insight into how he did it. That is certainly worthwhile. But not a museum with artefacts, objects, costumes, etc.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
