On a long walk through the centre of Prague, this was the place I felt most relaxed all day. Although it was reasonably busy, it still felt peaceful. The boats going past either side, the beautiful architecture to be viewed along the river, the amazing...More

Perfect to visit on a sunny day and take you food with you. It sometimes holds fairs or small free concerts, other activities during local celebrations.

A lovely little Island to get away from the crowds and to take some great pictures! It is very relaxing and pretty place and if you walk to the end of the Island you get a good view of the Charles Bridge.

Even though we were there on a sunny weekend day, the island wasn't very crowded. It was a nice, relaxing place to wander around, with picnic areas and a playground for kids.

On a sunny day it is very empty and beautiful. A great getaway from the crowds and romantic break not too far a walk away

This is a lovely little island, located near the bank of the small quarter on the Vltava river. The island features some vegetation, but does not provide that many attraction to justify getting there, thus we watched in from the Charles bridge and from Kampa.

The views from Shooter's Island to the main part of the city are stunning, especially near sunset. It also offers a quiet place to relax near the heart of the city.

From Avenue of the nation you can reach the Shooters island. Best time to visit it is on sunny day of course, when you can lie down and relax. Nice spot. It's popular with locals and turists. Take a blanket with you :)
