Yes, there are vendors selling trinkets...but the majority of the kiosks are selling very basic, fresh, good produce. Exactly what should be on offer.

Havels Market is an absolutely fantastic market that is extremely popular ,it's sells an eclectic mix of items ranging from fresh produce to keep sakes and souvenirs and when it is open it's a really busy market in a superb part of town. I love...More

Lots of trinkets, artwork, souvenirs and some food available on weekends at this 800-year old market. Stroll up one side and down the other and note there is room for a bit of bargaining. My wife purchased a beautiful small print by Anton Muchan for...More

To be clear, there are no major deals or anything unique from the vendors-- but you'll be there anyway, so take the time to look around. In the summer, there are massive amounts of people-- which can be distracting and truthfully annoying-- with all the...More

If you are imagining this offers authentic Czech culture forget about it. Except from some fresh fruits stands, which seems very popular, the other stands are all about things for tourists, like Charles Bridge paints are fridge magnets. Anyway, is a way to spend time...More

This is similar in nature to the Flower Market in Amsterdam with merchants selling fruits, paintings, souvenirs, arts and crafts, etc. It is free and is pleasant to stroll through but is not a must see attraction.

This market isn't your local market. However, if you are looking for some cheap gifts for friends back home, then this is not a bad stop. I would not go out of your way to go to the market however.

A lovely market offering a good selection of local goods and tourist bits. After walking round the city we found that the wares on offer were much cheaper than in the gift shops around the square and bridge. Some lovely artwork and jewellery too, and...More

Not bad for a place with all the tourist gifts and fresh fruit. Not a place where locals would come. Prices are very reasonable and it's the same from stall at the front to the stall at the back. No need to worry then.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
