Description:

The Czech Republic has the highest beer consumption per capita in the world...

The Czech Republic has the highest beer consumption per capita in the world and they have the traditions to back it up. In 850, there is evidence that hops were being grown in the Czech lands. The first recorded brewing was in 990 AD, by Bohemian monks, at the Brevnov Monastery near Prague Castle. Our Beer Tours explore 1500 years of continuous beer-love!We love beer and the thing that gratifies us most in our work is-transmitting our passion and enthusiasm to others. We have 2 different activities that help us showcase Czech Beer: Czech Beer Tasting and Prague Brewery Tour.

The tour was not exactly what I was expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise and actually more than I was hoping for. The three breweries visited were all micros, rather than large scale industrial breweries, which made it much more interesting. Tom was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide, and provided information about brewing in general, brewing in Prague... More

We took this tour at 12pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't really a surprise when they told us no one else had booked it for then. Unfortunately our flights meant we could not change our times but the company were accommodating and allowed us to do the tour just the two of us, if anything I think this was... More

Visited 3 small breweries on this tour and tried 11 different beers. The breweries are located quite close to each other and it is the perfect tour for this time of year as you spend most of the tour indoors. John, the guide, was very well informed about all things beer and his sense of humor definitely raised a few... More

Probably the highlight of our short break to Prague was this tour. First of all we were fortunate enough to have John as our guide. Johns knowledge of Czech beer and the Czech brewing industry was phenomenal, every question that was asked was not only answered but also lead onto many other stories. You visit 3 breweries on this tour,... More

Had a great time learning a lot about Czech beers, some history and a general insight into the local culture. We were lucky enough to be in a pretty small group, and thanks to John for having a great answer to all of our questions. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone, would even go on it again some time!

My wife and I were on a fascinating and historical tour through the Czech beer culture with our guide Tomas Panek. He was super competent and had a lot of knowledge about Czech beer, so we learned a lot about their beer culture. Highly recommended.

We had John as our guide, and he was an absolute blast to have accompanying us. He was very knowledgeable about the breweries that we visited and could always enlighten us about how the beer was made. At the same time he had a great character and we felt very welcome. Easily the best experience we had this holiday. Thanks... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
