One of my favourite European cities to visit! It is incredibly beautiful, holding old buildings with historic meaning. 4 days there and I fell in love with this city. Also very affordable and reasonable prices almost everywhere.. mainly because of the currency

In the same area as the astrological clock. An amazing old square with cobblestones, make sure you wear flat shoes when visiting Prague as the cobblestones are not good on high heels.

Still many tourists in November. Nice environment though quite commercial. Enjoyable walk in small surrounding streets.

I got completely hooked to the old town square. You'll find lots of tourist attractions, lots of typical Czech street food, lots of artists performing and lots of people. Spend a lot of time here for a thorough experience.

THE GOOD: Beautiful city. Totally nice to have your vacation here. A lot of souvenir shops and bars within the area, and street foods too. You should try this bread with ice cream/nutela. THE BAD: Good when its sunny I guess. Ugh! Gloomy weather is so annoying. A lot of drunk/noisy lads at bars too.

It was without a doubt the a confirmation of what I had hoped to this city, very well maintained with a spectacular architecture and the most important points with very easy access (everything can be done on foot). The old Town is wonderful full of nooks with cafes and shops where you can see from the most typical to the... More

A bit kitch and very crowded but it is all part of the old town Prague experience. The Christmas market adds something and the clock is worth a look. An amazing amount of history in such a small part of the city.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
