Found these gardens by accident, walking down a street next to Wallenstein Palace. This is the only way to get in as the gate from the Castle is closed due to security reasons. I did not regret any coin or minute which I spent there....More

This is a lovely terraced garden that is situated below the castle.....you enter from the street and it's not quite visible but as you climb to the various levels there are nice plantings and quite fabulous views.....there are so many picture postcard views it's ridiculous...More

Sorry for this silly story, but maybe you will get some benefit from it. Strolling the Castle grounds, like everyone else, we looked out from some observation deck to the gardens below. In so doing we noticed a couple tables with people having a drink....More

The beautiful gardens, not too many people and a beautiful day bring us back. For another way to get down from the Castle. Because the garden is terraced, there are many stairs to negotiate. But the views change at the different levels, so it is...More

these gorgeous gardens have only a few reviews. Perhaps because people do not stumble upon them like we happen to do. They were on of our highlights during our 4 days in Prague. They were not only beautiful, but relaxing as no one was there....More

I liked the situation of the garden, even if it requires climbing stairs all the time - but that is what makes it special. The gardens below Prague Castle are all different. They are not gardens full of flowers but more like architectural landscape.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
